Seasons Greetings from the CEO, Executive Board, Governing Council and all the Team at the Motor Traders' Association of NSW.

Please be advised that from 1 December, mobile phone detection cameras across NSW were switched on and include both fixed and transportable trailer-mounted cameras. Using high-definition cameras to capture images of the front-row cabin space of all vehicles to detect illegal mobile phone use, the detection system operates both day and night and in all weather conditions.

MTA NSW hosted a series of recent Member Information Nights during November in Cronulla, Wolli Creek and Penrith and would like to thank our Members who were able to attend.

Motor Traders’ Association of NSW ‘revved’ up their attendance at the 2019 Capricorn Tradeshow held at the ICC Sydney on Saturday 23 November. The annual Capricorn NSW Dinner and Tradeshow featured over 58 automotive suppliers who took advantage of the opportunity to present their services and network with Capricorn Members at the tradeshow. The MTA NSW stand highlighted the Associations’ benefits of membership and apprenticeship / traineeship qualifications available.

This information night provided an opportunity for Members to receive valuable industry information and learn how our Association can assist their businesses. Also, in attendance were our valued MTA NSW Business Partners - MTAA Super, Capricorn, Sapio and Openpay.

This information night provided an opportunity for Members to receive valuable industry information and learn how our Association can assist their businesses. Also, in attendance were our valued MTA NSW Business Partners - MTAA Super, Capricorn, Sapio and Openpay.

Members were also presented with an update from our valued MTA NSW Business Partners - MTAA Super and Sapio. SafeWork NSW also presented to our Members.

Unfortunately due to the high risk with the Greater Sydney being declared under a catastrophic fire alert tomorrow, due to high winds and extreme heat conditions predicted, we have decided to postpone the Dee Why Member Information Night tomorrow evening. We cannot predict if there will be road closures or fire outbreaks within the regions from which our guests and staff will be traveling to or from.

MTA NSW hosted in Dubbo on Tuesday 29 October an important Forum Meeting for MTA NSW Members from the Farm Machinery Dealers Association (FMDA); Commercial Vehicle Industry Association (CVIA) and Automotive Mechanical Repairers (AMR) (Heavy Vehicles).
