Update on Industry Consultation On Draft Code

The Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of Conduct (The Code) is set for a significant update, with the draft expected to be released in early 2025. The updated Code aims to improve collaboration between the insurance and repair sectors while addressing key industry concerns.
After an independent review by Dr Michael Schaper with guidance from the Code of Conduct Administration Committee (CAC), the updated Code was drafted by MST Lawyers.
The draft Code will soon be shared for broader industry feedback, providing an opportunity for professionals across the automotive sector to have their say.
