MotorWorld Sydney Launches General Admission Tickets & Extensive Program for the Whole Family
icket sales will commence with a Ticket Launch Special offering a two
day ticket for the price of a single day pass. 200 of these tickets
will be available in the first week of ticket sales.
Test drive bookings will open in mid-October. Ticket holders will be
given priority access to reserve up to three test drives online prior to
the event. All other drive experiences and rides will be available on
the day without prior reservations.
Kris Willand, Managing Director of MotorWorld Sydney, said, “It is
very exciting to see how many different types of companies associated
with the Australian automotive industry have committed to making
MotorWorld Sydney a truly unique edutainment and entertainment
festival.”
“While there is a focus on giving potential car buyers unique
opportunities to get behind the wheel on track, street or off-road
circuits, MotorWorld Sydney has much more to offer. It will present
spectacular displays and demonstrations, and hands-on activities that
will both inform and entertain. This extensive program will ensure all
members of the family will enjoy a great day out.”
“A wide range of special motoring experiences will be included in the
one ticket. Where else would you have a chance to do a fast lap in a
super sports car, experience the most advanced driver assistance
available today with the Autopilot in a Tesla Model S, participate in a
real media car test, prove your skills in a trailer reversing
competition, or hone those skills in the driver training courses? All
this while the kids do their license on BMW Motorrad push bikes, try out
the kids ATVs, test the latest electric bikes or race around a large
slot car track. And parking is free too.”
The grand finale of MotorWorld Sydney on Sunday afternoon will be the
festivities and special entertainment around the arrival of the Special
Olympics Australia 2016 Dream Ride convoys made up of 100 luxury and
classic cars and more than 1,000 motorbikes.
General Admission tickets will be available for sale online from 22
September from www.motorworldsydney.com. The entry ticket provides
access to all activities, including test drives, drive and ride
experiences, live displays and demonstrations, on-track entertainment,
live music acts and an outdoor cinema – and more.
The price of a one day adult ticket is $49 ($42 on Thursday); a child
concession is $29 ($25 on Thursday); and a family pass is $110 ($95 on
Thursday). Twilight tickets are also available.
