eMobility Live Recap

Earlier this month, we had the opportunity at eMobility LIVE Australia in Sydney to showcase how the automotive industry is adapting to the transition to electric vehicles (EV).

Our Head of Government Relations and Advocacy, Collin Jennings, had the opportunity to join Natalie Thompson from Electric Vehicle Council and Paul Fox from Evie Networks on a panel to discuss the challenges and opportunities with the transition to EVs.

Collin also spoke with our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) General Manager, Ian Price, Michael Rose from Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance, and Riz Akhtar from carloop about the future of the automotive workforce.

Our respected EV trainer Anthony Bonanno also drew quite the crowd with his hands-on EV training demo, using real training equipment we use for training our apprentices. 

MTA NSW's participation in eMobility LIVE Australia was a great success and helped to raise awareness of our commitment to the transition to EVs within the auto industry. We will continue to work with government and industry stakeholders to ensure that Australia is well-positioned to embrace the EV revolution.
